Tender support and Consortium Creation

There are a number of points of contacts for tender services within Australia. It seems both the federal government, each Australian state as well as Industry itself provide their own tender notification site.

The service OSIA would like to offer is a basic tendering service that helps members better access and assisatnce in the notification of existing tenders as well as assistance in submitting bids.

There are three aspects to this service that OSIA feels should be implemented.

• A member based tendering service allowing members to post tenders. A member should be able to post specific requirements alolowing other mebers to bid on the tender.
• An external based tendering service that combines all the above individual tender sites combined into one access point. A member could then bid on these tenders.
• A sevice to faciltate the building of consortiums iof members in order to bid on the bigger tenders.
